What are the chances of my baby having type 1 diabetes?

Some of my family has diabetes and some of my boyfriends does to. Does that mean the baby has a high chance of being born with diabetes?
I’m 4 months pregnant now.

I believe the person that crazyowl intended you should speak to is a geneticist, though most well-informed doctors would know of the figures relating to increased risk of having close relatives with diabetes and how this COULD affect offspring.

Would Diabetes be considered a humanity topic for a research paper?

I have to do a research paper about humanity and I was wondering if diabetes would be considered a humanity topic. I am planning to write and focus about diabetes and what we should know about it. So should I go for it?

No, humanity topics deal mainly with philanthropy, giving to the homeless, creating schools or institutions in underprivileged areas.

Humane ity, the act of being kind to others

How can I trace a stolen blood glucose meter?

How do i trace a blood glucose testing meter when it is stolen from a car? Are there any computer programs or online websites that can do this?

They can’t be traced but whatever meter you had should be able to be replaced without any cost to you. As for your readings you should have a seperate log of them with your readings….try "sugar stats. com".

What is the difference between a diabetic diet & the low glycemic index diet?

Very little. The low glycemic diet is just a little pickier. A diabetic diet, for instance, allows white bread and white rice. It uses portion size to determine how much of it to have.
In a low glycemic diet, those things are not recommended.
