What to do if my blood glucose meter reads up and down.?
My meter reads up and down to quickly. Why would I check my blood sugar five straight times in a row and it read something different every time? It went high to very high to low to mid high to mid high. I cant even decide how high or if my blood sugar is close to normal with these kind of readings? What should I do?????? Thanks
Your blood machine will read to a 10% fault each time. In other words one test can say 75 when the very next could say 65 and the next can say 85. If your results vary more than that then you might need a new meter. Call your doc, have them check you and see if they can cooperate in getting a new meter for you. The meter company might also be able to help you get a new one.
Good luck…

Call your doctor! They know your condition better than a random person on yahoo!
