CKD & Diabetic Diet Help?
I have type 2 diabetes and was recently diagnosed with CKD. I’m working with a nutritionist but was wondering if there are any good book with diet plans, recipes, etc. for a low carb, low protein, low sugar, low sodium, low fat diet?

I have been a diabetic since 1998.
This book has been a life saver for me.
The book is Dr. Bernstein’s Diabetes Solution.
Dr. Bernstein has been a type l diabetic since he was around 9 or 10. He is now over 70 years old and is actively practicing medicine.
He found out how to control his blood sugar and became a doctor at the age of around 45.
When he was first diagnosed, his life expectancy was less than 40 years of age.
Even though he is a type l diabetic, the covers both type l & ll
diabetes in his book.
He even has a cook book now, with delicious recipes, that are easy to prepare.

I peersonally love the Better Homes and Gardens cook book for diabetics. It really helped me, and the recipes are great too.
